Wolaita Sodo University's College of Business and Economics Department of Economics conducted a Model Examination for Exit Exam. The exam included a scenario where a man had the option to take a risky job that could increase his wealth to 50,000 birr with a probability of 0.6 or reduce it to 20,000 birr with a probability of 0.4. The utility levels associated with different income levels were provided to calculate the expected utility of the new job and determine the type of risk involved.
