This paper discusses the task of aspect-based sentiment analysis (ABSA) and proposes a novel convolutional neural network-based approach for aspect-level sentiment classification. ABSA is crucial for in-depth opinion mining as it involves classifying the sentiment of specific aspects in a text. The paper highlights the challenge of aligning sentiment expressions with their proper target aspect and proposes the use of CNNs to address this issue.
