This module focuses on issues of diversity, oppression, and social justice. It prepares social work students to understand biases based on ethnicity, culture, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, and more. Students learn about diverse cultural practices, family structures, peace building, conflict resolution, and immigration experiences in Ethiopia. The module also covers the influence of dominant culture on marginalized groups.
