This course work explores the disparity of nature and the human world in Kipling's "The Jungle Book." It discusses the peculiarities of English fairy tales and focuses on the animalistic personages present in Kipling's work. The aim is to study the role of animalistic characters in fairy tales and understand why they are used by folk and authors. The project also analyzes the appeal of "The Jungle Book" and the concept of crossing thresholds in the story.
