This research work explores the effectiveness of project-based strategies in teaching vocabulary to 6th-grade students. It compares traditional methods with modern approaches, with a focus on the role of Project-Based Learning (PBL) in vocabulary development. The study highlights that project-based tasks significantly enhance students’ abilities to think critically, collaborate, and apply vocabulary in meaningful contexts. Providing students with opportunities to use new words in real-life scenarios, rather than memorizing definitions, results in deeper and lasting vocabulary acquisition.
