Middle Adulthood is a long period in the life span, subdivided into Early Middle Adulthood (age forty to age fifty) and Advanced Middle Adulthood (age fifty to age sixty), with physical and psychological changes becoming more apparent. Middle Adulthood is described as a time of stress, danger, awkwardness, achievement, evaluation, empty nest, and boredom.
