The Forty-five Symbols Design Competition, presented by The Phaistos Project, challenges graphic designers to create a set of symbols that visually translate contemporary concerns. The competition is inspired by the Phaistos Disc, an ancient clay disk with 45 mysterious symbols that has intrigued historians, scholars, and artists since its discovery in the early 1900s.
