There is a need to conduct big randomized clinical trials to identify the end points with the use of universal classification of potential complications and unfavorable outcomes in the peri-operative period. Standards for defining and using criteria of severity degree have been developed under ESA and ESICM to investigate clinical efficiency in the peri-operation period.
