Tropical diseases
Mahsulot tavsifi
Tropical diseases are a cluster of infectious diseases that are seen in tropical and subtropical regions, including parts of Africa, Asia, Central America, South America, and the Eastern Mediterranean. They are mainly transmitted by vectors such as mosquitos, ticks, bugs, flies, etc. The prevalence of these diseases is attributed to several factors, including limited resources, population growth, climate change, ineffective preventative measures, lack of access to medical care, economic instability, and the emergence of drug resistance. Additionally, poor living conditions, lack of sanitation facilities, inadequate access to clean water, and malnutrition are significant contributors to the prevalence of tropical infectious diseases, often called “diseases of poverty”.
